What Fervent Ink Can Do For You
You've finished your draft! What's next?
Perhaps you've completed a draft of your story/novel and you need a professional to help you make your plot points, story structures and characters as strong as they can be. Or maybe your manuscript needs a line edit or a deep polish to get it ready for publication. Whatever stage you're at, massive well done to you for completing your first draft. It's a huge accomplishment!
Now comes the scary part: sharing your work.
Whether you're just starting out and hoping to sign with an agent/traditional publisher, or you're an established indie author, or you're looking to self-publish, you'll need your story to shine brightly for your readers.
I understand how important it is to trust your editor with your book-baby. I'll always be kind, constructive and honest as we work together to make your book the best it can be.

Point of view
"Jess started beta reading for me in a personal capacity (we met because we share the same - marvellous - literary agent) but she's now become such a part of my writing process that I wouldn't dream of submitting to an editor before I've listened to Jess' advice. I've made positive changes to characters, plot, and even setting, following Jess' sage reading and gentle (but firm) steering. I wholeheartedly recommend her services, and this comes from someone who is about to glide effortlessly across a plot hole that is now a solid surface thanks to Jess' logical and imaginative answer to my (ranting and garbled) problem."
